Founded by Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino in 1986, Nauta started out as a shipyard whose build quality, design concepts and unmistakable style were well received by a clientele of passionate sailors. After having fully committed to design and consultancy in the early 90s and having built up a solid  reputation as a top international Designer for sailing yacht projects, Nauta created the exterior design of  the Lurssen 180m Azzam, launched in 2013. The studio has collaborated with the top main superyacht builders in the motor yacht field since then. The common denominator to all projects is a design philosophy based on clean lines and smooth and uninterrupted indoor/outdoor flow. Today, Nauta is a yacht design studio working on the general concept, exterior and interior design for both custom and production series projects. They work with their experience and versatility on the design of sailing and motor yachts of all types and sizes, always drawing with their calligraphy of elegance and simplicity, and are today internationally acknowledged for their mastership in combining form and function. Nauta interprets the owner’s needs for interior style and exterior lines and turns them into yachts featuring luxurious, modern and functional on-board lifestyle, enhancing the quality of the experience for Owners and guests.
