Delivered by the Dutch yacht builder <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/18" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Amels (Company)">Amels</a> in 1974, she started her life as a pilot vessel. In 1996, she was converted into a luxury superyacht by the Australian shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/215" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Oceanfast (Company)">Oceanfast</a>. The late <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/17" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bannenberg & Rowell Design (Company)">Jon Bannenberg</a> was responsible for her new interior and exterior redesign. Then, in 2003, her bridge deck was lengthened at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/89" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Arredamenti Porto (Company)">Arredamenti Porto</a> in Genoa.
