As of early 2025, builders from the Asia-Pacific region accounted for 538 of the 6,022 operating yachts over 30 metres worldwide, representing a share of 8.9%. This positions the region as the third-largest superyacht construction area globally, following Europe (including Turkey) and North America. Over the past decade, the region's share has in fact increased to 9.9%, with Asia-Pacific builders delivering 168 of the 1,684 yachts completed between 2015 and 2024.While Zhuhai is often considered a key hub for yacht building in China, the province of Fujian has been growing and is now home to shipyards such as <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8170" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Allegro Yacht (Company)">Allegro Yacht</a>.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/358539/image/large-96c6e77fde347c5b1dbd7d239bed6d49.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/358539">SuperYacht Times sat down with Chris Zhang, Director of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8170" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Allegro Yacht (Company)">Allegro Yacht</a>, to discuss the evolution of this family-owned shipyard, its current projects and the broader challenges facing yacht manufacturing in China.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/358533/image/large-1852f54ea61fa9732cd2a61c54e18c7e.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/358533">When was Allegro Yacht founded and how has the shipyard evolved since its inception?<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8170" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Allegro Yacht (Company)">Allegro Yacht</a> was founded in 2006 by my father and uncle, the latter of whom has dedicated his life to yacht design and is regarded as one of the leading yacht designers in China. In the early years, we focused on building 40 to 58-foot trawler boats, with our primary market centred on Europe, where we have successfully sold between 50 and 70 vessels.In my view, Europe remains the benchmark for yacht design and innovation, setting trends and standards across the industry. Inspired by this, we aimed to introduce a similar level of quality and style to our domestic market. In 2011, following comprehensive market research, we shifted our strategy to focus on larger yachts and began catering predominantly to Chinese clients.&nbsp;This led to the introduction of the Flybridge Series, which includes models measuring up to 30-metres. Over the past 13 years, we have seen consistent growth in this segment. Most recently, we launched the 29.9-metre motor yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/15286" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Feng Er29.9m (98'1&quot;)Allegro Yacht2025">Feng Er</a>, which represents the latest evolution of our design and craftsmanship.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/358163/image/large-df372246bf3b9d2519ee4975b0e8b174.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/358163">What is your current production capacity and how has this changed in recent years?<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8170" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Allegro Yacht (Company)">Allegro Yacht</a> benefits from extensive production facilities, having relocated last year to a larger site, which provides greater capacity to build multiple yachts simultaneously, while maintaining greater control over construction costs.&nbsp;Yachts currently in production include a 35.4-metre yacht, scheduled for delivery in 2026 with interiors by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4774" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pulina Exclusive Interiors (Company)">Pulina</a>, a 25-metre yacht, a 22.9-metre yacht, and two 19.8-metre models, with plans underway to commence construction on an 18.9-metre catamaran as well.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/358522/image/large-1158dda343ebb688a6e5eecfa307282d.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/358522"> Have you noticed any shifts in buyer preferences within the Chinese domestic market?In China, yachts are predominantly used as entertainment spaces rather than for overnight stays. Clients typically prefer to use their yachts as social venues - hosting parties, entertaining friends, or conducting business meetings onboard. As a result, there is less emphasis on overnight accommodation and more focus on creating spacious, sociable interiors.Among the younger generation, particularly those in their twenties and thirties from wealthy backgrounds, there has been a noticeable rise in enthusiasm for sailing and spending time at sea. Many are seeking a more hands-on approach to yacht ownership, commissioning yachts they have personally helped design, without a long-established background in superyacht construction and by working closely with the shipyards. Their aim is often to create a unique, bespoke yacht that is not available on the wider market.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/358527/image/large-758038c171361f5b6952c289416cd995.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/358527">By contrast, only a small proportion of around one and five percent of the older generation purchase yachts purely out of a passion for life on the water, with the majority viewing yacht ownership primarily as a business or entertainment asset.In response to this shift in usage, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8170" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Allegro Yacht (Company)">Allegro Yacht</a> adapted its designs by converting traditional staterooms into karaoke rooms and placing greater emphasis on creating social spaces onboard. Clients increasingly seek a high level of customisation, with each yacht featuring a unique interior conceived to reflect the owner’s personal style. This bespoke nature of the work can present challenges, particularly in aligning designs with varying tastes, but remains a central focus of the company’s offering.&nbsp;Looking ahead, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8170" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Allegro Yacht (Company)">Allegro Yacht</a> plans to expand into the growing charter market across the wider Asia region. Partnering with established local operators is expected to be a key strategic move, enabling the company's yachts to generate additional revenue, strengthen brand presence and support a faster return on investment.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/358528/image/large-39d2534cbe3f58b98e730c7ef8bbde1d.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/358528">Given the current geopolitical and economic climate, what challenges do you see for Chinese yacht builders in the global superyacht industry?In my view, I remain optimistic about the future. While tariffs have had a notable impact, Chinese shipyards have demonstrated the ability to adapt by restructuring their supply chains, which remains a major strength within the industry. The yards most affected are those operating as original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), specialising solely in building yachts for the international market. Each market has its own specific characteristics; for example, in Thailand, the charter sector is extremely active, supported by the abundance of cruising locations. This presents an opportunity to introduce our yachts to the Asian charter market, which offers significant potential for growth.In regions such as the Middle East, however, the market dynamics differ. Buyers there, often from royal families or high-net-worth individuals, tend to favour established European brands. As a result, entering markets where clients have strong preferences for European-built yachts presents additional challenges for Chinese builders.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/358536/image/large-afb96a668f8fa165971e6abbc50df3a1.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/358536">Looking ahead, how is Allegro Yacht presenting itself in terms of expansion and innovation within the superyacht market?We are planning to expand our presence internationally, with Hong Kong identified as a key market. Much like Dubai in the Middle East, Hong Kong serves as an important hub where international clients gather, offering an excellent opportunity to showcase our products to a broader audience.In terms of technological innovation, we have been in discussions with Huawei to explore advancements in onboard technology. This memorable experience not only fuelled my passion for yacht design but led me to choose it as my final course during my studies at the University of Florence. I was very fortunate to meet Guido Spadolini, an innovative architect and visionary who helped me work on my thesis, which focused on the design of a 21-metre fast open yacht.After graduating in Architecture, I enrolled in a unique master’s degree program, established through a partnership with the universities of &nbsp;Florence, Genoa, and Pisa. This master’s course played a pivotal role in my entry into the yachting sector. Immediately following its completion, I secured a position as an interior designer with the shipyard Filippo Picchiotti (FP), owned by one of the members of the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/350" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Picchiotti (Company)">Picchiotti</a> family, previous owners of the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/350" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Picchiotti (Company)">Picchiotti</a> brand. There, I collaborated extensively with the exterior designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4575" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Paolo Caliari Design (Company)">Paolo Caliari</a> on the Jaguar brand, a series of &nbsp;yachts ranging from 21 to 27-metres, that were sold in the American and European market. Unfortunately, the shipyard fell into bankruptcy in 2008.After FP, I joined <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> as style manager for their fibreglass projects for approximately 10 years, mostly managing production in Viareggio and Fano. I successfully managed around 500 yacht projects, overseeing the intensive production process. Notable projects included the development of new series yachts such as the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> Crystal, Mediterraneo, Tradition, and the Classic Supreme series. As style manager, I was also responsible for developing the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/358" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut Yachts (Company)">Azimut</a> Grande project; we delivered the first unit of the series to a client in Hong Kong. &nbsp;During this period, I extensively travelled worldwide, gaining insights into the yachting industry across different countries. The experience in various shipyards equipped me with the tools and knowledge necessary, allowing me to refine my creative vision. The combination of these experiences eventually inspired me to establish my own design studio in 2014, which is approaching its ten-year anniversary next year.&nbsp;Can you share how the firm has evolved over the years and elaborate on the projects you are currently involved in?<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/295443/image/large-c1be7d8714fb13fa0bbc24ac320dadb4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/295443">Over the years, our firm has undergone significant growth, expanding to two offices, one located in the heart of Pisa with a team of 15 employees, housed in a beautiful historic building just a short distance from the iconic Tower of Pisa, and another strategically positioned in the art centre of Shanghai. Moreover, I have also been recently appointed as a consultant for the Chinese government in the yachting sector.&nbsp;Our international presence across two continents has played a pivotal role in our ability to undertake multiple yacht projects worldwide, spanning three continents. The studio's approach on embracing diverse cultures enhances our ability to connect with a global clientele.Furthermore, we've undergone a recent significant evolution by expanding our scope of work beyond interiors to include exteriors. This dynamic relationship enabled us to capture the client’s vision and generate an interior with a welcoming familial atmosphere and a tropical inspiration. In order to achieve this we gathered a lot of elements inspired by the vibrant colours found in tropical forests, for example. The collaboration with the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN (Company)">CRN</a> team and the owners was instrumental &nbsp;to this success. Could you elaborate on the goals and objectives of the project "Aligned with Sustainability" ?Our initiative 'Aligned with Sustainability,' showcased at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Event/182" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Monaco Yacht Show - 2023">Monaco Yacht Show 2023</a>, &nbsp;emerged from a noticeable growing client interest in sustainable interior design materials for yachts. However, addressing this demand posed a challenge due to the lack of what I often refer to as 'tools', comprehensive resources and materials to support sustainable projects.In order to address this gap, we initiated research, collaborating with the university Sant'Anna in Pisa. Our aim was to identify companies producing sustainable materials, including biomaterials and bioplastics. The goal was to curate finishing products and materials that, when combined, could contribute to a design that is 100 percent or close to 100 percent sustainable. In the course of our research, we identified a company that develops biomaterials derived from sources like oranges and lemons.&nbsp;This endeavour aligns with a broader movement in the industry where dedicated research and innovation are focused on creating new materials for the future. It's a crucial consideration, as we stand at the threshold of the future, prompting us to think about the well-being of the next generation. Personally, as a parent of three children, I find it imperative to shift our approach from traditional methods to conducting research for a sustainable future.&nbsp;When you are designing a yacht, how do you ensure that the design remains stylish and relevant when the yacht is eventually launched?Addressing the question of maintaining style and relevance in yacht design is undoubtedly one of the most significant challenges a designer faces especially with interior yacht design. The goal is to cultivate a contemporary interior design that emanates a perpetual sense of freshness, resists the pull of passing trends and ensures an enduring appeal that stands the test of time.During my involvement in the design of the third hull of the Crystal series, the 42-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4629" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Soy Amor42.0m (137'10&quot;)Benetti SpA2014">Soy Amour</a>, achieving synchronisation with the owners proved to be a meticulous process. This often entailed multiple revisions to ensure perfect alignment and harmony between the design vision and their preferences. This summer, I had the opportunity to revisit <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4629" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Soy Amor42.0m (137'10&quot;)Benetti SpA2014">Soy Amour</a> after approximately 18 years, and it still radiated a sense of freshness and contemporaneity.&nbsp;The success of this enduring appeal can be attributed to my design approach in eschewing a fixed historical period, and embracing a heritage process that transcends time. Yacht refits are common after seven to eight years, but our aim is to extend the longevity of our designs.&nbsp;If you could purchase your own yacht or advise a client, is there one design feature you feel contributes most towards a luxurious experience onboard?Absolutely, when considering yacht design, our approach is to reimagine life onboard. The market traditionally adheres to standard layouts with a fixed number of cabins and public areas. However, our experience, particularly in designing villas in diverse locations such as China and Abu Dhabi, has revealed a shift in client preferences. Now, it's less about a specific number of guest bedrooms and more about creating versatile spaces that foster communal activities.&nbsp;We're exploring concepts like winter gardens and chill rooms where people can engage in various activities. Clients are seeking modern office spaces on yachts, deviating from the traditional setup. The contemporary onboard office is designed as an experiential space equipped with technology, multiple screens, meeting areas, and a setting conducive for conducting business. Our vision is to revolutionise the yacht experience, moving away from the conventional desire for a set number of cabins to a more dynamic and multifunctional onboard lifestyle.Finally, any exciting projects or developments you would like to unveil?Whilst I can't disclose specifics, I can share that in China we have entered into a collaborative venture with prominent car brands for an innovative yacht project. First announced in early 2018 with a teaser line drawing that hinted at a sporty exterior, elongated bow and dramatic sheer, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7207" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="RIO62.0m (203'5&quot;)CRN2022">RIO</a> was destined to be something unique for the Italian shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN (Company)">CRN</a>. Featuring exterior design and interior architecture from Frank Laupman of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/55" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Omega Architects (Company)">Omega Architects</a>, the yacht, which was delivered in May last year, is an evolution of a design trait Laupman has been playing with for years. With interiors from <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN (Company)">CRN</a> in collaboration with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4774" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pulina Exclusive Interiors (Company)">Pulina Exclusive Interiors</a>, the yacht’s interior volumes are characterised by bright, light and beachy tones, bathed in light from the floor-to-ceiling windows which wrap around the superyacht’s decks. Here we take a closer look at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7207" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Rio62.0m (203'5&quot;)CRN2022">Rio</a>, a fully custom superyacht which changed hands shortly before its completion and therefore one which shows a shipyard and designers ability to adapt to an entirely new set of desires in next to no time.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235402/image/large-e1a16ff327fc3ed9381a37796d345aff.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235402">One of the most characteristic features of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7207" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="RIO62.0m (203'5&quot;)CRN2022">RIO</a> is her extremely long bow and dramatic leaning profile that elongates the vessel and gives her the presence of standing high in the water. To accentuate this specification of the first owner, Laupman and his team deviated from the expected and pulled the mast head away from the centre and toward the aft of the vessel. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235415/image/large-9bf91717d387ece5d9fc255d9f4304b1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235415">Developing the yacht from these initial lines, Laupman and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN (Company)">CRN</a> opted for a large amount of glass, with the aforementioned floor-to-ceiling windows exaggerated further by the low bulwarks on all sides. Utilising a trait from an inspiration series created by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/55" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Omega Architects (Company)">Omega</a> for <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN (Company)">CRN</a> following the launch of the 73-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2749" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Yalla73.0m (239'6&quot;)CRN2014">Yalla</a> in 2014, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7207" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="RIO62.0m (203'5&quot;)CRN2022">RIO</a> incorporates a characteristic arch to the aft, sweeping from the superstructure of the owner’s deck to the transom. A dynamic tool, the arch not only unifies the hull and main deck, but also makes the entire superstructure appear smaller and more tapered than it really is, giving the entire vessel the sense of leaning direction. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235409/image/large-c8e29ca83611d51d65894fede12aedf1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235409">Laupman explained, “The risk with an arch in this position is that it could intrude into your view from the aft deck, which is why the arches are hollow, allowing the eye to pass through them, while still retaining this interesting disruption of the hull line that creates a unique and special appearance.” With echoes of this distinctive arch visible in other <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/55" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Omega Architects (Company)">Omega</a> designs, a dramatic example being the 65-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/54" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heesen Yachts (Company)">Heesen</a> superyacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/3676" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Illusion65.0m (213'3&quot;)Heesen Yachts2013">Galactica Star</a>, now Illusion, it is clear to see how the motif has evolved over the years; on Rio this results in a more upright and angular feature. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235436/image/large-4bdbd06be6d583bc5f606c0f8b9e98f7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235436"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235435/image/large-ff6fd4dad7ebd2954231e6c94bd4a872.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235435">Offering an elegant support for the owner’s deck aft, the archway has allowed Laupman to pull the overhang further aft and elongate it without visually impeding on the profile of the superyacht. This owner’s deck aft is home, as is custom now, to a large dining table, lounge chairs and sunbeds, while the foredeck features a private owner’s Jacuzzi and lounge area with an awning and table, utilising that elongated bow.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235434/image/large-5060b2bc586ee9d020bf646e3e509343.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235434">While the uppermost aft deck area is dedicated to the guests, the main access point is an external stairwell which leads from the owner’s deck. This is because the internal volumes are dedicated to the technical management of the yacht, with the interiors home to the emergency generator, captain’s cabin, first officers cabin, pantry and wheelhouse.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235413/image/large-fbd242d3e73f9226f8aa0b95cf67fd5c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235413">Laupman has unified the design of this technical deck with the entire form of the vessel with the use of a number of clever motifs. The wing stations on either side of the vessel have been defined as separate forms which protrude from the superstructure at graphic angles and catch the light. Laupman explained, “the wing stations are a hard form with a sideways angle which are integrated with the visors over the windows that accentuate the entire feeling of the yacht ‘tumbling home’.” These lines are then balanced by another, gentler arch at the aft of the upper deck glazing, which adds yet another dynamic touch to the yacht’s exterior profile.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235422/image/large-c19dfe91444942dc3920d242dc9e990d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235422">When it comes to her interiors, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/7207" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="RIO62.0m (203'5&quot;)CRN2022">RIO</a> has been carefully configured by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/55" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Omega Architects (Company)">Omega</a> to emphasise a flowing sense of interior-exterior harmony, while <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN (Company)">CRN</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4774" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pulina Exclusive Interiors (Company)">Pulina</a> have created an interior styling that brings to life the owner’s wishes for bright spaces and a happy atmosphere. Alessandro Pulina commented, “The concept of the yacht was Tropical Mood, as prevailing upbeat white tones forming a backdrop throughout are set off with lively pops of colour. We wanted to create a sort of colourful and exotic amusement park inside the yacht, with unique art selections and decorations, made to measure with the ever-changing experiences inside the vessel.” <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235423/image/large-e7e204566d38ecc7fa7fc7b9a42eaadb.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235423"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN (Company)">CRN</a> added, “The preferred woods are American walnut and white lacquered oak in staves, selected respectively for the floors and walls all through the yacht. Crema d’Orcia and Calacatta Vagli Oro marbles were chosen for the bathrooms, chiming with the predominant light hues. The most vivid notes come from other marbles: the blues of the Azul Macauba in the saloons and the mossy Irish Green in the outdoor bars light up the spaces with colour combinations that vaunt a decidedly marine vibe.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235444/image/large-f465bb43e7905145e9f3c680c7c572f0.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235444"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235445/image/large-7796ccf33d4784b54ae10491edba77ff.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235445">Diverging from the standard saloon layout, guests enter from the aft deck sliding doors where they are greeted by a standing bar, the dining table and then the lounge area with a huge TV and integrated stereo system. The bar at the entrance to the interiors creates a sense of conviviality, by greeting guests with a social and welcoming atmosphere and acting as a bridge between the exterior and the dining area. This is then maximised by the bespoke round drum table that can accommodate as many as 12 guests. This opening decision sets the tone for the entire interior, which is truly focused on the entertainment of guests and the creation of unique spaces to enjoy with friends and family.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235442/image/large-0fbd5b301b4deffc937aa0226656e5a4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235442"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235443/image/large-22b3267e48a0cee25fa40d9db67f46cc.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235443">With six guest staterooms, including a full beam owner’s suite on the owner’s deck, a full beam master on the main deck and four lower deck staterooms, all with their own ensuite bathrooms. While the owner’s suite and master staterooms align with the bright and beachy style of the main deck and sky lounge, the lower deck staterooms have each been styled in playful tones and prints.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235429/image/large-d4df958ddb0be3944377aa2f4d504559.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235429"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235426/image/large-94b81ba6edc981a33666d4b51550def2.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235426">A representative of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN (Company)">CRN</a> explained, “The owner and his family were directly involved in the styling and design process of the staterooms, in fact each cabin was made to measure to meet personal desires of each guest; one of the owner’s express request was to have bright spaces and a happy atmosphere full of colours for the younger family members especially. For this reason each guest cabin has white lacquered-oak staved walls that are enlivened with dashes of colour. Each stateroom is finished differently, personalised with its own colour scheme – red/brown, green/blue and pastel green – for the wall panels, profiling and furnishings.” <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235446/image/large-c3c26641f9c4aa122d8e0f97d1e60522.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235446"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/235447/image/large-fd2a510963844b87d6d99cfdf10556bc.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/235447">Alessandro Pulina highlighted some of the fully custom elements to the interior, noting, “An impressive detail would be the presence of 9,000 slats, used to create the walls of the yacht, together with interesting curve elements made by hand. Every wall is characterised by a linear led illumination which highlights all these slats continuously and accentuates the shadows and light.
