Born in Pisa, Alessandro Pulina graduated with honors from the University of Florence, Faculty of Architecture in 2003. His background includes the worlds of arts, communication, technology and luxury design. A highly creative person who has found his perfect medium for expression in design, with a keen emphasis on the feelings and comforts of each client.
After completing his degree, Alessandro Pulina was introduced to the nautical world through two key encounters that set his career path. He soon joined Benetti, where he supervised numerous projects of the Benetti Class line as well as several Azimut Grande yachts. For ten years, he was the Style Manager at Azimut-Benetti Group, the international leader in the construction of luxury yachts made in Italy, overseeing production at the Viareggio and Fano shipyards.
In 2014, with a wealth of experience and a passion for design, Alessandro decided to take a leap and opened his own studio in Pisa, Pulina Exclusive Interiors, a creative space where he and his team craft distinctive interiors for private residences, bespoke yachts and luxury hotels. Even after founding his own studio, Alessandro continued to collaborate with Benetti on custom fiberglass yachts, while also initiating partnerships with prestigious names in the nautical industry, including the Ferretti Group and Riva. Among his remarkable projects is the redesign of the Pride Mega Yacht, an 88-meter yacht, the largest ever built in China, where he worked alongside the shipyard to customise the interiors for the client. Another highlight of his career is his work with CRN, where he designed the interiors of the 62- meter yacht Rio, tailoring the space to reflect the owner’s vision of a magical, enchanting atmosphere on board.
In 2020, Alessandro expanded Pulina Exclusive Interiors global reach with a new studio in Shanghai, followed by the debut of an office in Dubai in late 2024. These strategic locations, supported by local teams, allow Pulina to meet the growing demand for its distinctive Italian design expertise in the Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
