The furniture and interior architecture have been preserved, and her original oak wood has been punctuated with ribbed detailing and hand worked raffia details.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/275024/image/large-919abb92b8ec10a2e88e02708564de29.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/275024">“As work progressed, the owner was very enthusiastic and receptive to our ideas and decided to add to the list of work initially agreed,” explained Paolo Simoncini, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/895" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lusben Shipyard (Company)">Lusben</a> Viareggio Site Director. The credit for this goes to the entire work team and to Gianluca Maggiorelli, who coordinated the project managers and, despite the delicacy of the yacht, was able to put the owner’s wishes into practice and complete work according to the planned timeline.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/275020/image/large-28c581ff937732a0cd0095cf75bd149a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/275020">Her interior design remains natural with a variety of wood and neutral colours chosen. Her carpets are adorned in shades of ivory and hand cut to create a design reminiscent of waves. Her new interior is said to be “a new and decidedly more modern style, as well as a new level of onboard comfort”, while remaining faithful to her original interior styling, as penned by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Terence Disdale Design (Company)">Terrance Disdale Design</a>.&nbsp;The largest changes were made to the owners’ and guest staterooms, as all marble and wood elements have been overhauled and given a complete makeover. She offers accommodation for 12 guests in total and can host a further 12 crew. Over 160 participants attended the Italian stage of the 16th Azimut Benetti Yachtmaster event, held from 3 to 6 february at the Tombolo Talasso Resort in Tuscany. The event was the second in a series of three (the first having taken place in Asia in November 2015) Yachtmaster conferences with the aim to increase the company and its partner’s communication on a global scale.

Dynamic workshops were presented where participants could learn more about industry-relevant subjects. Coordinated and paneled by experts, the groups of participants were able to participate in rotation in all the different workshops. The four themes dealt with the fundamental issues of insurance, taxes, new environmental protection standards and new challenges in crew management. Benetti yacht captains were also interviewed, illustrating their experience in the various discussions.

16th Azimut Benetti Yachtmaster Italy a success

The Azimut|Benetti Group has announced the appointment of Fabio Ermetto as the new President of the Yachtique division. Yachtique is the world's largest superyacht services organisation and incorporates all of the Group's service companies, including Fraser Yachts. The full range of services includes brokerage, charter, yacht management, new construction, crew recruitment, refit and repair, finance and insurance, marinas, yacht design and luxury accessories. Ermetto is a highly-respected figure within the superyacht industry having previously worked in a senior position for Benetti as well as having been the Sales &amp; Marketing Director of the Heesen shipyard in Holland for the past five years.The outgoing President, Paolo Casani, established Yachtique in 2009 and successfully grew the Division to become a significant part of the Group's overall activity.
